Tavern was established in 1904 and has been operational from that date.
We took over the tavern in January of 2025 and we have made several improvements over the last year.
We have updated much of the infrastructure of the building as I think on a good windy day it would have tipped over.
We moved to Imnaha in 2020... we are covid transplants. It was a five year dream to move over this year 2026. However Covid sped that up. as at that time I needed my kid in school and on the westside of the state they were only doing social distance learning and I needed my kid in a classroom. After meeting with the teachers in Imnaha... they were teaching 4 days a week. So, we uprooted our kid and made the big move.
Running a restaurant is my wheelhouse as I have to other restaurants on the westside of the state still. I saw the need for my skill set here and when it came up for sale we decided to buy it and breathe some life back into the old girl.
I'm not great at writing so I hope you can take what I have said and make it sound wonderful.
